Second issue on stands for awhile now, I never received it, what's up?

I was wondering the same thing. I logged onto the subscription service and it says the est mailing date wasn't until the 15th of Dec. With the holidays, I'd give it two more weeks.

I was hoping to have mine before I travel for the holidays (plane reading material).

Still haven't recieved mine yet and this is my first issue.

For a bi-monthly magazine new subscriptions generally take 5-7 weeks to begin. To cut that down we do two mailings per issue. The first mailing for Issue 2 was about 6 weeks ago, the second mailing was last week. If you subscribed within that 4/5 week time frame then you should be on that second mailing. If you need help or if it seems like you've been waiting more than 5-7 weeks then email me directly and I'll take care of the situation for you.

Hi Charlie,

Click on the subscriber services link to the left. Enter your information and you can see when your issue was mailed to you. If you haven't paid it will say "Suspended" that's normal. We send one issue out without payment and then suspend until we receive payment.

It says I have an active account and it was sent out approx. 12-15. I subscribed 11-28, putting all this to see if it can help you. Also mail ran already and no mag maybe coming later date.

Given that you subscribed 11/28 it's would be normal for you to receive the first issue by the first week of January, which I'm sure you will. Some good news for all of our subscribers, we should have our Periodical Pending approval before the mailing of issue 3, which means subscriptions will be handled as First Class mail rather than Bulk Rate.

Could I get the 1st issue with subscription instead of the 7th. I would probably just renew then.

Unfortunately because of the cost to mail individual issues that has to be sold as a back issue. Issue 2 has already been mailed out to you based on when you subscribed. You will receive that issue while it's still the "current" issue.
