Great turnout and a great day. BadBrad showed up with his AMA and he was flying. Great job brad. You keep improving everytime we hook up to fly. Here's some pics from today. There were only three heli pilots today. The rest were planes of all types with the exception of turbines.
Here's Brad's Hirobo up close and personal.

You can flip and roll and toss the heli around the sky, this way and thataway, up, down, and all around........ BUT, this is what spectators want to see. :D

I don't care if the power is supposedly better with an ep 600. Not only does the sound turn me off, but no smoke coming from the heli, it just doesn't look as good. IMO.
I'll stay with the 450 sized electric and keep the nitro for anything more.
Here's the Trex600 flying. :)

Good pics. I like the ones nose-in position. :)
You need to rotate a few of the pics 90 degrees.
Nice job flying today, bradley.

your pica are great too Cuzz! My laptop is officially dead for a day or two or forever. I'm not sure if its going to last much longer. I got two blue screens of death and some software or hardware issues with my wireless card. Oh well, Ii got to get all my data off it and then try to reformat. A reformat was way past due anyways.
Great flying today and thanks for inviting me Cuzz!

" Remote pilots gather in Falls
BY NATHAN MILNER, Wyoming County Press Examiner 08/15/2007
FALLS - Backflips, barrel rolls and nosedives filled the air above Fox Crossing Airport in Falls Sunday during the Black Sheep Squadron's Radio Control Airplane Fun Fly.
It was the ninth year for the annual event organized by the Black Sheep Squadron Flyers. Proceeds from the event go to the Valley Santa program that provides toys to needy children at Christmas. Radio control pilots from across the state gathered in Falls to show off their planes and their flying skills.
Darrell Evans of Noxen was in attendance Sunday. Evans has been flying radio control airplanes for 10 years and now owns 17 planes.
On Sunday, pilots had on display biplanes, high-wings, low-wings and even helicopters. "Any kind of real planes you can find in radio control planes," said Evans.
According to Evans, RC planes are divided into two groups: gas propelled and electric propelled. Gas engines are more popular, Evans said, though electric motors have the advantage of being cleaner and slightly less expensive.
Most planes are now sold "almost ready to fly," Evans said, with little or no assembly required. In the past, "stick build" planes were more common which required pilots to build the plane from parts. Inexpensive planes can be purchased for as little as $150 while top of the line planes can cost in the thousands of dollars.
Evans said radio control flying had always been an interest of his but it wasn't until he joined one of the local flying clubs that his hobby took off. Evans is a member of the Wyoming Valley RC Flyers and the Black Sheep Squadron. Through those clubs he learned how to build and fly planes.
Evans believes it's important for any pilot to spend some time working on their plane and suffering "the inevitable bumps and bruises," before moving to more advanced flying techniques.
It's the camaraderie among radio control flyers, evidenced at events like Sunday's fly-in, that have maintained Evans' interest. "They're the nicest bunch of guys you'll ever meet," said Evans.
"It's stimulating," he added. "You're always learning new things. You'll never know everything about flying."
