Hey all! With all the mishaps I've been having lately, I had to wait to take a portrait of all 3 of my babies together.

Very nice family pic. I think the middle one ressembles you most :D Which ones your favorite? How does that predator handle?

As far as favorites, it's a toss-up. I like the Raptor because I can still toss it around and not be near as afraid of putting it into terra-firma.
The Predator is VERY SMOOTH! It powers through loops and rolls like silk. It's very responsive even with the settings in the middle of the road for the linkages. It's also very stable and tractible. Low speed and low altitude maneuvers are so easy that it practically flies itself through them with no bad tendancies what-so-ever. It does tend to be a bit more sensitive to the wind than I expected with it's size. It's not that the wind makes it hard to control or tosses it around, but it will almost make it feel like it needs trimming with a slight wind. A wind in any direction will make it tend to want to tilt that way which I don't notice with the Raptor, but it's not anything that would distract me from getting one if I were contemplating a purchase.

Thanks!
Don't get too close to the Raptor to check out the paint! I used a low-grade automotive clear coat and it's just slowly deteriorating each time it gets soaked with oil. It's so bad that grass that gets cut by the tail rotor sticks into the paint and won't come out. This winter I'll probably buy an all new canopy and fins and leave them white and do a white tiger theme for next year with the vynil stripes. I'm just sick of seeing all the work I do on paint get eaten away by glow fuel.
