anyone using this radio is it any good should i buy it or save more and buy a 9 channel

Its not around yet in the States (though some may have found one), so I doubt you will get too many replies on it quite yet, looks like a good radio though.

I had a 6102 (which is what this radio is based on) and loved it. The 7th channel will come in handy in the future, I'd highly recommend it. If it was out when I bought my 8103, I may have gotten a 7102 instead.

the 7102 is supposed to be fully synthesized as well!! It looks like the 7102 is going to be a very good value.
