I was about 90% away from completing my Trex HDE and decided to convert it to the CDE. It was very easy to change it over. Parts ran about $30 with swash.
I think it gives it a cleaner look, not to mention a drastic reduction in weight. Hopefully better flight characteristics also(if I ever get to that point) :p .
I was going to install the receiver in the front on the HDE and the ESC in the rear. The CDE manual recommends installing the receiver in the rear. Any suggestions on location to install ESC on the CDE?
I've been working on this thing for months now, I hope I'll be able to fly it soon.
