I have a quick question in regard to my collective set up.

I am trying to set the collective on my V2. You know, the slot where the washout block goes up and down and its controlled by the collective servo? I can't figure out how to set up the inner pin that pushes this block up and down. Should the block be centered in the slot with the servo arm and collective fork parallel? Or should the block be set at upper end or the lower end of the slot with the servo in and parallel with the fork.

And would there be a problem with moving the rudder servo aft so there is not such a long push\pull to vibrate? I can't see where moving the servo within like three inches from the rudder and attaching a servo extension would cause a problem.

This thing is almost ready to go! Of course the instructions suck with this so they are no help. If you have suggestions, please write me at: MDJester1@comcast.net -Thanks-

the washout block needs to be exactly centered in the slot with 0 collective, that way as it travels down it can cause the collective to go negative and up positive. Center it in the slot, and make the arms sit at 90degrees angles so it has equil travel both ways.

As for the rudder servo, depending on it's weight the further back on the boom you move it the more weight you will need in front of the main shaft to balance it, though I see no other downfalls from moving it there.
