I like the way the gyro servo is mounted on the tail boom on the T-Rex 600. Does anyone sell a kit for the Rapture 50 to mount the servo on the boom?

there are many options on the market, do a google search for "tail servo mount raptor"

Can I ask your reason for wanting a tail mounted servo? Most people have learned from experience not to use a tail mounted servo. It's highly likely to be damaged in a crash and the oil is very bad for the servo. Electrics don't have a problem with oil. I know several people that have made custom linkage rods on their 90 size just so they can keep the servo under the hood.

I do not like the bend that you have to put in the rod near the servo. By mounting the servo on the boom, which is only 20mm further back, allows the linkage rod to make a straight shot.
Bends in a push pull rod is never a good thing. It works just fine but I believe the way the servo is mounted in issue 5 page 15 in the new RC HELI, makes a cleaner arrangement.

I agree, the servo mounted on the boom makes for a better linear connection from servo to tail slider thus making no slop and immediate response to tail pitch from a digital servo, in term this is what we want an immediate response transfered to tail slider. This is how I got mine done; got the servo holder at Heliproz for 12 dollars, then bought a carbon fiber rod about 5.3 mil X 1016 mm about 4 dollars. Got two threded rods that would fit the carbon fiber rod and epoxied it leaving 2/8 ths of an inch for the linkage only on one side.
Installed the servo and centered the horn, also made sure my tail slider was centered on the tail shaft, or for a raptor 30 and 50 leave a space of 4.5 millimeters between slider and tail housing. Put your linkage on the rod on one side and on the otherside mark your cut,
this would give you the total rod lentgh of about 20 1/2 inches for a 30, bit longer for a 50.
Snap the rod on to both linkage balls and your done. Remember to move your servo to get the best linear movement from back to front. See pictures.

I don`t worry to much about the servo getting oiled because these are sealed and after a days flight I clean the servo thoroughly. This setup can also be used on electric helis.
Here`s some more fotos.

I will have to admit that's exactly what I did on my Trex. The stock tail rod is just too small and flimsy.
