Well I got the 90 SE up and running put 3 flights on her today.

I put the Stubz on her but they are slower than the stock black paddles. The Reds were definitely faster by at least 3 times.

Question, they come with Flybar weights I didn't use them. Should I have? I have full travel no binding, almost no expo and they are plain old slow. If I add the weights will this help?

Help me understand why lighter paddles are slower, it makes no sense to me.

Lighter paddles of the same shape should be faster. The slower speed could have something to do with the airfoil of the paddles that slows them down as well. They do look quite rounded at the front instead of how pointy the TT paddles are. My guess is it's no going to be slicing the wind as the stock ones with that rounded edge.
I read an article on this in RCH somewhere. Maybe someone has the issue and page number....

Thanks for the explanation. I have all the issues, I may have missed that article, I'll look for it in the magazine.

I know a couple guys that used them (not sure about the weights though) and they stated that they were fast and better than the TT Reds. Right now I disagree completely as they are definitely slower. They roll beautiful just to slow.
