I just got my new G3 upgrade.
It is amazing how much better my kids fly now!
If they crash they get a shock on the arm.

I'm guessing that you're joking, if not why don't you put that shock machine to your head.

I'm not going to put it on my head, my oldest son is the one that built it and tested it, he can put it on his own head. lol
Its not much of a shock though, I tested it on my arm after he built it.

It is enough though that when he hooked me up I payed a lot more attention to not crashing.

That looks like an old V8 ignition coil to me. If you have a bent for the sadistic, fine. I wouldn't put it on my kids, it onlys takes 1 amp to stop a heart, provided the current flows across it. You did know that your heart is controlled by electrical signals from your brain right? I'm not slamming you or anything, but keep it away from your kids.
As for not crashing as much. Pretend you will have to lay out a couple hundred dollars everytime you crash, money can be an amazing motivator. That's why I go to work everyday, Mortgage, Family, Helicopter stuff, Everthing else - in that order.

This is not a MSD Ignition system on 18 volts, its an old Bosch VW coil with a 7.2 volt battery. He tried a 4.8 volts first but could not feel it.
1500 MaH / 20,000 = .075 amps

The output was placed about an inch apart on one arm. He first tried putting it on his fingers but it was not strong enough.

My son is 18 years old and has grown up around racing and engines. He graduated 11th in his class and has an full academic scholarship to UTD. I trust him not intentionally to hook a high output ignition system across his heart.

He built this as a joke and not for something to torture his brothers and me, or to sell to the public.

I am more concerned for one of my kids accidentally touching the fence charger while feeding and watering the animals.

What I use as motivation is the fuel tank. I turn off the unlimited fuel and fly at least one tank each day. A crash resets the tank.
