I decided the other day that it would be much better for me to learn on a simulator than in real life, i bought G3 from a friend but dont have a controller, i've got an emulator that lets me use the joystick for a controller. Only problem is that the joystick is only 3 axis, no rudder = no heli flight. Question is, is their a cord out there that plugs from the trainer port to a USB port? If not, is there a way i could ghetto rig one up? thanks for any help!!
P.S. - websites would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you.

RacingTowardsRed if you pruchased the G3 from a friend without the controller then you did not purchase the G3. You can use your radio with the controller but not your radio without the controller. I would recommend you attempt to get your money back and purchase a G3 with the controller. Also, get one that has not been registered that way you can get updates to the G3. Some of the updates are great like the photo fields etc. You can try www.runryder.com for individuals selling G3's or you can purchase a new one from many different hobby stores like www.heliproz.com.
Good luck and best wishes.

I think they might sell the controller for the G3, check realflight website or Horizon Hobby.
They also sell the Usb cable. If your gona use pre registered software you might have to use your friends name as registration on your computer, don`t see a problem there if you get his permission, in any case the G3 is well worth the hassel. :)
