Cheers gang!
As it has been suggested to me in other threads / replies that I might be able to solve a lot of my BLADE CP problems by switching from the NI-MH to the LI-PO batteries, I'm concidering doing exactly that. However, before I do so, I'd like a little info first if possible. Other than the LI-PO batteries and a LI-PO charger, is there anything that I need to get for or do to the BLADE CP itself before I do the power switch?
Many Regards and THANKS,
NIGEL

Lipos and a good charger are all you need. I highly suggest getting the 9T pinion motor when switching to Lipos. The stock 10T will last for a while but the Lipo will soon burn it out. The 9T holds up much better with the Lipos.

Is that motor you're refering to the one that comes with the "stunt" upgrade kit?

Yes, the 9T motor does come with the aerobatic kit. You can also purchase these separately.

I don't actually have this one yet, but it's on my wish list. Hobbico Quick Field Charger (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=001105107&I=LXCTZ5&P=K)
I'm currently using the Watt-Age Charge-It-All (http://www.hobbytron.com/Watt-Age-Charge-It-All%20Sport-Charger-AC-DC-LiPo-NiMH-NiCd.html) mainly because I like the 110v/12v feature. I can plug it in the wall or use it with my field battery.
If your only charging 3S batteries, either of these would work fine. The big plus is they both charge all battery types.

You should also consider adding the twin motor upgrade to the tail. The LiPo's will burn out the tail motor pretty quickly, with the dual motors each gets have the voltage and will keep the temps down. The twin motors also adds some additional protection against a tail motor failure. Even if one motor fails the other should provide enough tail control to get the heli on the ground.
There are also some reports of better tail response with the twin motors

I believe more people, including myself, prefer the direct drive tail motor over the dual motor setup. The dual motors double the cost and double the weight on the tail. Either way, the tail upgrade is much better than the stock tail.

HMMMM? Twin Tail Motors...That's really new information for me...never heard of that before so thanks for the info! I'll be investigating that also along with the LI-PO upgrade stuff!
