River Valley Flyers Electric Meet

Hope to see you there. I spent all my money on the Raptor 50 but I still am going to the flyin. I got the RC bug big time and just to see anything fly is good for me. Being in Wausau I do not have to far to travel. I thought this might be a good show to see what the electric side of things is. :)

Looks like the T-Rex will be airworthy by then as long as I keep it in the air. I'll see you there! OH, I didn't mention that AMA membership is required to fly because it is an AMA sanctioned event but you don't need to be a member of the club. I forget what the fees are for flying one or both days. Spectators are free!

Wanted to add a side note, there is also primative camping at the field. The field is in the middle of nowhere and there are no obstacles to be seen except a post or two and no houses for at least a mile. The Die-Hards start getting there Friday. Gas and glow is allowed Friday night, then Saturday & Sunday (when the actual event begins) it's all electric. Will probably mostly be planes, but I at least will be there representing the "Dark Side" as they refer to it at my field. They do some neat events like aerial combat, possibly a limbo contest, pylon racing, night flying, and if there's enough heli's, possibly some events for them as well, like drag races, possibly a cone obstacle course and whatever else someone has the idea for.
