Greetings,

The local hobby shop I work at part time bought a Blade CX to mess around with, sorta wet out rc-car feet with you could say. Now it goes without saying that this bird has been crashed a couple times... (that would be lying...) and everytime something breaks it gets replaced quickly.

After it's most recent rebuild however, the heli is swaying like a pendulum in a circle about 5 feet around I've tried moving the cg around a bit but no luck. It does this with the balls on or off.

This is a bit confusing so far the little yellow crash-test Heli has been parked about a week due to this.

Any suggestions?

Chris

Check the blades for cracks at the base where they mount and check the main shaftes that they are straight and perfect. It has got to be a ballance thing that is throwing the gyro off. if all else fails you may have damged the 4 in 1 gyro and it just wont hold. But start with a bent or broken part.

Best of luck to ya!

make sure the flybar is mounted toward the leading edge of the blades. If it is mounted toward the trailing edge, it will be inherently unstable.

Hrrm, there is no other way to mount the links...

I may just have to rebuild the rebuild..

Make sure you don't have any music playing when you fly it. It may be swaying to the music. :p

Or it may just be a real slow shake as it shivers in fear of the top of the pepsi machine... my co-workers are kinda crazy with it... Learned pain responce.. yeah that's it...

O_o
