Hey RC heli mag crew! Where are you?????? I dont know about the rest of the guys on the forum but it seems as though the bucket has been dropped around here and there is no feedback from the mag crew. We dont know anything about the next issue coming out (this happens everytime) and the response to questions asked directly of you are not responded to in a timely manner.
Mike I noticed that there was some feedback on the last issue that pointed out some tech flaws which is ok but we need to know how things are going for the next issue. The mag should be getting better as time goes but the last issue is stale and dry. I find myself reading or looking through the earlier issues. Mike I also noticed that you are still the editor for Xtreme RC cars as well. Has this got you spread to thin trying to keep up with 2 mags? This post is NOT a slam but more of a heads up for you guys. From the outside here it feels as though you are under staffed for the RC heli mag and it is lacking because of this. Give us an update as to the mag plans and how things are going if you could.
Thanks guys!

Hey Guys,
I read the board almost daily, just don't respond unless I have something constructive to add. I don't like to talk about future issues until their out because it turns into, "hey I heard the magazine was out and I haven't gotten mine." When in fact the issue isn't out and isn't supposed to go on-sale for a few weeks. By the say June/July is on it's way. Official on-sale is 5/28. So look for it soon.
We've got a new member of the team, Aaron Shell. Some of you might recognize Aaron from working at Dee Tee, Tammies and a few other hobby shops over the years. Aaron's awesome. He's going to have a huge impact on the magazine. He's also in-house full time. So he'll be responding to the board more often than I can.
Thanks for reading guys,
Mike

Mike thanks for the info bro. I hope Aaron can make things run a bit smoother. Sounds like a guy that has been in the field for some time so he can help us beginners out with some great mag content. Looking forward to his introduction here and have a great week guys.

I just wanted to say, I bought I think the previous May/June issue from a hobby store.
I actually quite liked it. It was informative, an Air Age dosen't have anything like it. With the rise the popularity of Micro/Mini helicopters in the last few months, I feel this magazine is very needed. Especially since there will be many newcomers coming on board this hobby. I began this hobby in February after visiting the AMA Convention in Ontario this year. I have been flying RC fixed wing for four years.
I purchased a Hummingbird V3 first and then right away I bought a Blade CP. The Blade turned out to be my heli of choice, but it was good to begin my learning on the Hummingbird.
After I got the hang of hovering the Blade I next purchased the MX400 Pro from Helimax. (I know, just a re-named Ark X400). The thing I like about your magazine was that it seemd to be an honest magazine. Not just promoting the products of the manufacturers that provide the test models, but actually reviewing the models themselves, pro and con.
One thing it would be good to see is some articles on basic practice maneuvers for novices like myself. Now that I am hovering, what should I do next? I have seen the RADD flightschool and other articles online, but would like to have similar articles in a magazine that I can refer to from time to time. In the issue I purchased, I did see the autorotation maneuver, but would like some tips for us who have just learned to hover. Hope to see that in later issues. I have become a subscriber, since I don't have a local hobby shop. P.S. Need any more writers?
Thanks,
friar
