This thing looks good has anyone tried this one yet?

www.reflex-sim.de/reflex-sim/shop/catalog/

There is a video about mid of this page. www.helihobby.com/html/reflex3d.html

You can download a demo but you can not control it but you can watch recordings, the download link is in the invoice they email you.

There are a bunch of demo files at www.rchelicopterweb.com/Simulators/Simulators.htm

I am looking to pick up a sim. and I wanted to see if anyone tried this one.

Some of us here run Real Flight G3.5

I only recently sold my reflex sim. It is a great sim but you need a good computer to run it. I used to run it through my laptop and it couldn't really handle the graphics that well when you would fly the larger models. Reflex also offers free updates which is good. everything is adjustable on the sim, from balance to wind. need anyother info just ask

Like Rappy said, you need a computer that's capable of supporting the XTR program. I have the Reflex and I'll never buy another sim. I bought a dell xps400 with all the requirements for the XTR Reflex. I will say this, I rate my sim set-up at 96% to the real thing. The other 4% is tuning my nitro engine :D .
It flies no different than my real helis besides the fact that when I crash, its only on the sim. ;)

One more thing I forgot to mention. It looks like a real live video of an RC Heli flying around.

Here's a screenshot.

THANKS for the info guys. It looked nice but I have never seen anything about it B4 so I wanted to ask.

I have a AMD 3000+ with a NVidia 6800 that should run it good. The demo is running OK on a P4 1.6 and a NVidia 5200, but the backgrounds were jumping a bit.

Sounds like it will be worth the investment, my poor old Lite Macines 110 is shot and I do not want to waste my Hawk again. :)

What simulator works on Vista?

Reflex's web site says their XTR works. I think you just need to install it a special way. Right click the icon, Properties and run it under XP compatibility. Also I think you can install it on a XP system then just copy the folder over to Vista. There is not supposed to be any copy protection in the program because of the doggle.

If nothing else try the demo and see if it works. You need to regester, but it does not cost anything to get it, just put in your cart download it.

I have the the SIM. Great graphics. What's great about the SIM is that it allow you to scan a photo of your own heli into the SIM, so you will be "flying your own heli"

Upgrades are FREE...plenty of background/backdrops to choose from so that you will not be bored with the same old background.

Good luck with your decision!
