Fairly new heli pilot. I purchased a Blade CP last summer and an MX400 in January. Converted my Blade CP to use a JR receiver. I have been reading several forums and have yet to see this mentioned other than just set them all to 60.
On the Swash Plate for 120-degree CCPM you can set the Aile, Elev and Pitch mixing. Mine is currently at 60 each which is the default. What exactly does this do, why would I want to change it, and if I change it what effect will it have?
Thanks.

60 should be enough to get the necessary travel for a BCP. What it does is sets the travel for the CCPM mixing. If you've got a servo moving in the wrong direction when you slide the collective stick up, you would reverse the corresponding one on the radio to -60 to reverse the servo. The nice thing about JR radios and receivers (one of the nice things, too many to list ;) ) is that all of the channels are labeled, so there's very little troubleshooting to figure out which one is going the wrong way.

Thanks tdswan. Forgot to mention and I am not infront of my 6102 right now, but one or two of them is -60. So if I understand it now, it is just for setting the max travel on the three servos and basically they should match and I should leave it alone. It does fly fine with the 60s, just always trying something with the 6102 to see what it does.
Have seen some posts and magazine articles (not necessarily about the Blade) where people have it set to all different numbers. The article where I found the hack to install a JR receiver on the Blade had it set to something like:
Aileron at 78%, Elevator at 74%, and Pitch at 28%.
Thanks again.

No problem.
Not sure of the advantages of changing the mixing, haven't needed to do it so I only have the basic knowledge that reversing one reverses the servo. Maybe I've needed to and don't know any better. I don't know all the answers, but I'm always happy to share what I know. :)
