I was thinking about buying G3.5. I learned to fly with the rudder servo reversed, can the G3.5 reverse inputs on the Tx?

I don't know, but this would be a perfect opportunity to learn the other way. How far along are you? (how advanced have you gotten?) If you ever get to the point where you want to learn inverted flying or more advanced maneuvers, flying the tail backward will make it much harder.

I just got G3.5 a few weeks ago and yes it can reverse all the channels so if you had the rudder channel reversed you should be able to duplicate that in the controller setup screen. You can also edit the heli settings themselves which allow reversing the servos and gyro settings.

I'm just in the figure 8's stage. I learned to fly with the rudder reversed because it seemed much more natural. But if I learned that way, wouldnt learning inverted just be the same as in learning to fly normally? What I mean is just learning orientation like a brand new pilot would?

true, but when you start getting into pirouetting maneuvers and such it will be harder to conceptualize what you are trying to do. Also you will never be able to get help getting models trimmed etc. I'm sure you can be successful, but it will be harder down the road to make the change
