When connecting the servos to the linkages do you turn the radio on and let the servos center? is there certain positions the sticks and or switches need to be in when your making your connections. I have a JR 9303 and a raptor 50 with a 401 gyro and 9254 tail servo. I also have a push pull elevator and direct tail connection

The best way is to hook each servo to a channel like the rudder which centers all the time and then adjust the horns so that they're at a 90 degree angle to the linkage. Once centered, then re-connect them to the proper channel and you're all set! If it's the rudder servo, then eliminate the gyro first by directly connecting the rudder servo to find center.

Double and triple chech your your throttle servo and carb opening, you don't want a wide open throttle on your first start.
