Nice bird! I like the paint job,did you do it? How many helis do you have now?

It's a paint/vinyl combo. The stripes are vinyl and I coated and wet-sanded the heck out of it with the yellow. REALLY need to sand the bare plastic to get anything to stick to it.
It's got about 4 coats of clear coat on it for fuel resistance.

I've got 2 heli's right now but have built or been a part of building or setting up 8 of them. My latest addition is on backorder, so I'm stuck at 2 for a bit.

Those are some nice looking helis. I take it you use a really fine sandpaper?? Is it a good idea to use some sort of primer coat first? I've been tossing around the idea of purchasing a scale fuse for my little blade cp and try my hand at custom painting it but have no experience. Any advice?

I used 400 grit wet-sand for every coat. There is a coat of plastic primer under there somewhere, too. just use thin coats and sand in between each coat.
