Has anyone seen the constant volocity tail or the fully metal head or does anyone own either of these?

I cant say that I have. I was thinking about the tail upgrade but on the other hand by not going that route its easier to get cheap parts when you crash. If you put alot of money by getting these upgrades, it will improve the flight of the heli but you lose the ability to just go to any LHS and pick up a spare parts for the blade when you need them. I'm thinking more on putting that money on a bigger 50 size bird and use my (mostly stock) blade to hone my skills in the front yard.

Well I was going to get a Trex but I found out the Blade CP RPO is coming out with a 3-in 1 and is brushless ready. 3 -in 1 is $45 and a friend gave a spare 4-in 1 with the right know how I can make the 4-in 1 into just a receiver, or use the 4-in 1 all together for tthe tail conversion which is a TREX on BLADE electronics and a store bought Gyro. And still fly both Blade and conversion kit, just add new servos later down the road to make things easier. I also found out you can make the 4 -in 1 run the brushless motor but you have to solder some wires in the right place. In truth the 4-in1 is a receive with the 3rd and 4th channal solder to the back of the board so e-flite could add the dual speed controller and gyro So if you want to run brushless I think you can I'm going to see if the receive puts out on the 3rd and 4th channal a servo signal ( my thinking is to go brushless you would do 2 thinks buy an adapter or separets (seps. being a receiver, speed controller times2, gyro) Well maybe I'll get LUCKY and win the lottery.
