I have a Honey bee 2 and can't get it to lift off the ground. I purchased from a known good source that I have bought from before(used). I checked everything and all seems well the only thing that I think might be wrong is the battery. It has a 7 cell Ni-MH battery. Is this to low of a voltage and if so will that make it not be able to lift itself?

The 7 cell is the stock battery the kit comes with so there shouldn't be an issue unless it won't hold a charge. Have you checked your pitch and is it correct? If the battery can power the rotor at sufficient speed, then you are not getting enough pitch in the blades to provide lift. You need at least 5 degrees of pitch to hover.
Are you using all stock parts including radio?

Yes they are stock parts. It acts as if it wants to leave the ground but never quite does. I will check the pitch next.

Im not an expert or anything but I know with my Blade CP if I am using semetrical blades I HAVE TO use Lipo batteries. with the regular stock NiXX batteries I can only maintain a hover for about a minute before I am out of juice, unless I have stock flat bottom blades.
