Free Heli Drawing to subscribers!

Just out of curiosity, do these Heli manufacturers give you guys these helis to review or do you have to pay retail like everyone else?
Cause I was thinking, maybe you could have a drawing and give them away to your subscribers every month once your finished with them.
What do you think? What better way to promote this hobby,heli manufacturers and your mag at the same time. It's a win-win all the way around! ;)

Oh, that's a GREAT idea. I'm betting that alone woulod double the subscriptions! I must admit, I wondered the same thing.

The magazine does get these models from the manufacturers at no cost to provide reviews for the magazine. I get parts weekly from manufacturers and dealers for reviews. Some parts are worth keeping and some are not.

The magazine may keep some of these models for future upgrade reviews. It would be nice to give some unused models away on the forum though.

Tell you guys what, I'll work on some kind of contest; best crash photo, best fun fly photo, or something to that affect and see if we can't give away some free stuff.

You should have a reader/user vote. Helihobby posts 3 pictures each month and had a user vote, the winner gets a prize. It's hard to get spectacular crash photos and not all of use get a chance to go to a fun fly very often.
