In the current issue (issue 4) you done a review on the caliber 5. I have had one now for a couple of weeks with the exact same set up you guys used. Except I used a fut. GY401 and 9253 for the tail. I also used the OS hyper 50 with the Curtis Muscle pipe V2 <BUT> it is very close to the Main fuel tank. I have put a peice of rubber wraped with fiberglass tape as an insulator in between the two Now the direct contact between the tank and the pipe seems to cause some foaming. What did you guys use to solve this issue with the pipe and tank clearance? I have an OS muffler extension thats about a half inch but this will detune the pipe im sure, but I am considering using it to ensure that I do not melt the tank. What is your guys opinion on this issue?

Yes, the pipe was a bit close to the tank but it really did not cause any issues during testing. I didn’t use any insulation and flew the heli numerous times without it causing problems. If you want to insulate it than don't let it touch the pipe as that is what causing the foaming………… :)
