I am currently using Clearview for a sim but have been seriously considering getting G3 because of the training settings it offers. But I do not see any Raptor Titan listed and the MX400 is a $29.00 add on on top of the $200 price tag for G3. So of the people using G3 is there a free Raptor and/or MX400/Trex Heli that can be added?

have a look at what is available here.........

( this is for "haze1995" as well - I think that I gave an outdated link )
you have to look around - there are plenty of heli's in there and some really nice LARGE SCALE planes - the "Globemonster" is a personal fav :)
( this is the opening link to the above new section )

Hey,
(you're welcome - both)
I bought G3 last July with the first addon pack ( almost 2 months before my heli ) and as far as I can figure - it paid for itself in the first week or two - crash after crash -
once I started really cracking up, and having to buy replacement parts, I realized what it would have cost if I didn't practice with the sim - "real life" is still different, but you have some finger muscle memory going from the sim - so it's better than "no sim" :)
and - you can always run the sim ( rain / at night etc. )
I upgraded to 3.5 to get the "practice sessions" and have been very happy with it.........
the Knife Edge swap page is great for adding more models ( free ) :)
as far as I know, quite a few here use it - everyone has a personal preference
mine is G3.5 :D

Me too, Luv the G3.5
Gunna try and find Caliber 50 this weekend and see how she fly's
Also with G3.5 you can go on the multi player (Internet) and fly with other people and chat at the same time (very interesting) it can be crowded on some sessions but great fun, Ive been run over several times by F16s etc, you have to keep an eye out :D
Cheers Ralph

Thanks guys. Looks like it is time to place an order. Have to check my codes for Tower Hobbies. I think I have a $25 off somewhere.

The Add-ons Volume 3 has a Raptor 30 and Raptor 60. I have a Titan too. I used the Raptor 30 and went through and changed the specs to match the Titan. The only thing I was unable to get changed was the 620 blades so I had to go with the 600. I think there was a Raptor 50 on the website that could be downloaded but I did not try it and don't know if it is still on there.

Thanks for the info Harold. I did find the Raptor 50 on a web site and downloaded it. It works very much like my 50 and with a little more tweaking it will be close. I hate to spend $200 on a sim then have to spend $29+ more for an add-on. Seems like a marketing rip-off to me. That is why I inquired here about downloads before I bought G3.5. It is much more difficult than the real thing though. And I don't know if it is me or not but with G3.5 and my cheaper sims the scenery always seems to be panning right. I think I'm holding the heli pretty steady but the background says different.

If you tweak it good and use your own tx it is very, very close (at least in my opinion) to the real thing. Even the crashes are the same, and I should know! :( A buck is a buck and you need every one of those bucks in this hobby!! :)
