I bought the Hyper Raptor 50 form heliproz it has the direct connect tail control assembly my first question is does anyone have this setup? if so can you post or send me pics from the base of the boom to the tail so i can see how to set it up i think im missing a piece that wraps around the boom and holds the carbon fiber servo tray. My second question is how tight do i have to tighten the tail rotor blades? and how do i line them up? And one more thing i need help with is the fly bar paddles is there a good way to level those up i know it says to line them up with the fly bar but im having trouble with them too.
Other than that my build has been pretty steady with little problems seems im only having problems with the most important parts GO FIGURE :D
Thanks

OK...First, I'm don't have the rear-mounted servo, but I believe it bolts to the two bottom bolts that secure the boom to the frame.
Second, the tail rotors can be so loose that they will fall under their own weight, or just a little tighter.
Third, The tail should be lined up with the servo centered (eliminate the gyro momentarily to check this, i.e. connect the rudder servo directly to the receiver) when you look at the bottom of the tail assembly, the grey tail pitch arm should line up with the tail shaft. Fourth, There is a tool to help align the flybar paddles and you can find it HERE (http://www4.mailordercentral.com/heliproz/prodinfo.asp?number=805400). They should be leveled with each other as well as the control rods they are attached to on the head.
www.raptortechnique.com will have LOTS more info to help you with your build. The tail pitch picture was linked directly from that webpage.
Good luck and it's great to hear of another Raptor taking to the skies!

Thanks i have been on Raptor Tech it does help out alot. One more question do you tighten the main rotors the same way as the tail rotors and what happens to them do they hold straight do to the rotating mass? Just seems odd that they would be that loose

The main rotors should be tight enough so that when they are out straight, you can lay the heli on it's side, give it a small bump and they will not fall. Loose main rotors will cause boom strikes.
