First, Glad to be onboard! There's lot's of information to absorb (and a lot currently going over my head!).
I've had a CX for a couple of weeks now and love every minute of it. Great unit for a beginner such as myself to learn on. Much to the wife's dismay the 'addiction' has set in. I've probably tried to push my skills a bit more than they were ready for which resulted most recently in a wipe out that subsequently burnt up the 4-1 and motor burn up. The replacement was a snap but with one significant glitch: I can't get the rudder control to work correctly.
With the new 4-1 unit and motors installed left rudder results in a right tail swing and vice versa. I've tried swapping the motor leads, uder various combinations, into the 4-1 unit as the users manual suggest, with the only result being uncontrolled accelerated spinning when any rudder input is applied.
I thought I had followed a good one-for-one swap when replacing the unit; but apparently I messed something up.
It does make nose in flyiing pretty easy but yes, I understand this isn't the way to learn!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and again; glad to be here.
