Thank You !! I put a lot of time into my projects ... I just love to scratch build .. most of the time I build, tear it out and build again :D Sure makes it nice though when someone says it looks good!! Thanks again.

Gday Dr tim
I just have a question for you. I am just about to paint a scale body made of fibreglass and just wanting to no what auto paint to use ie: enamel, 2k, acrylic or any other type. I will be spraying by gun with a bit of luck.

If it's a Gasser or Turbine then Laquer is fine but if it's Nitro then go with enamel ... I prefer Laquer as it is easier to work with, drys faster and looks more scale .. (Shine is not to shiney).

A good Polyurethane Clear is always nice but not nesserary. Make sure to let the paint cure for at least 48 hours before flying .. A good practice is to give it a good waxing after a couple of days to seal it and boost the shine a bit.
