I must say that after reading the article in issue #4 on pitch and throttle curves, that I am more confused now. Hopefully you will adress this again in future issues as mentioned in the article. Maybe some charts would be helpful.

Also would like to see a story on painting, especially the "bleach bottle" canopies. I was originally told they couldn't be painted, but have seen some websites that talk a little about painting them. www.raptortechnique.com

Love the magazine! Keep up the good work.

Oh no, that's not good. We actually just had someone call us on the phone to thank us for that article. What's the area of confusion? Maybe we can help.

I agree with salmedprewitt on the pitch and throttle curves article in issue #4.
The article seemed rushed. It could have gone in to more detail and been a little longer than a couple of pages. Maybe some pictures or diagrams? It didn't totally confuse me ,but, it didn't clear up a whole lot either.

I've gotta say that I agree. I just got to reading it last night. I was confused and I've done this 8 or 9 times already. Sorry guys, just not detailed enough.

Everything else was great, though.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that guys. We'll come up with a different angle on that subject and go over it in greater detail real, real soon. Thanks for the feedback.

I actually didn't read it completely until last night and I tried to read it as a beginner would. I can see now that if I didn't know about pitch curves I would still be lost after that article.

80% of pitch setup is mechanical and that was completely overlooked. It would be helpful if the article included mechanical setup and link adjustments. When a begginer needs help, the biggest thing I hear is "all the links are the exact length the manual says". They don't understand this is a starting point or "suggestion".

Ron The milk jug canopys can indeed be painted. I have done this with good out come. Here is the one I just finished, and also the OS decals are home made.
