Oooh, WHITE paddles on that Raptor.....Someone's a 3D guru. How do you like them? I'm still working with the black. I'm still not a 3D guru, but I'd like the flips and rolls to be a little snappier.

Nice vinyl job on both of them. It's neat to have a matching fleet.

tdswan, I highly recommend switching to the white paddles. You won't regret it. It's not as different as you might think and the control is so much better.

A guy at my field went to the greens late last summer. He said it's a lot more squirly, but he likes it to move "right now", so he says he like's 'em. I personally like the stability, so green would probably be a little light for my liking.

What kind of batteries are you using in the TRex..?

Is the TRex body clear or solid? Meaning did you paint it on the inside or the outside?
I tried painting my CCPM body on the outside and whoa it looked awesome until I flew it once and cracked like a saltine cracker.. If you did paint it on the outside, what did you use?

Both birds are vinyl. I got the Raptor vinyl from Rotor Graphics (http://www.rotorgraphics.com/) and had the Trex vinyl custom made by Callie Graphics (http://www.hobbies-n-stuff.com/calliegraphics.htm). So much faster and easier to do vinyl. Also, the Trex canopy is fiberglass.

I did paint the Raptor with fluorescent orange Krylon on the bottom just so I could see the thing in the sky, but it doesn't work well with nitro.

ahhhh ok i was wondering. The 3k body in my avatar died a painful death.. I bought a clear one and painted it from the inside like an rc car body. Nothing fancy just supa bright flouescent orange.
