Here is what i love to do in my spare time when i aint flying my heli.
Where i live it is prime country for 4x4 and there is so many places to explore. this is after crossing the river which i later got stuck in. This is one of the big rivers in christchurch and at the moment the water levels are low. normaly the water would be over the roof of the car in this spot of the river.

Hey mongoose. Ya well figuratively speaking, our place backs onto a National Park and there is nothing between us and the mountains in the back ground.

This side of the fence is for take offs and landings, the other side is for crashing! I try to end my flights on this side of the fence. ;)

Poor old Stringy Bark, died two years ago!!!
(Bloody draught)
It was turning into a dangerous tree,
so its time is up---or down
Its next mission will be to keep my toes warm this winter
I had to take down the fence in order not to wreck it :eek:

Yep the weather has crapped out here more rain today, just got tree down before it rained again, I'm chopping it up now, I've been on holidays at home for the last 3 days, decided to have a rest from work, and string some days together after Anzac day, so 5 days off, I've finished the CX, going to fly her tomorrow if its not raining, and then move onto C5, man, thats a big chopper :eek:

No, so i shouldn't be stirring you on about getting the cx finished really. I have been busy with my planes but once they are all setup and running right i will move back to fixing up the helis and getting the scale one painted. good plan to take those few days off in between, i take it you have been busy tidying up around your house
