elevator This is another airplane term, but is easier than saying "cyclic forward / back." The elevator is what pitches the plane forward or back, to dive or climb, but does not really exist on a helicopter.

Retreating Blade StalL A dangerous situation resulting when in fast flight where the blade that is flying towards the helicopters tail looses enough airspeed to generate lift. This can result in loosing control of the helicopter.

Yamaha Remotely Piloted Helicopter
