Just a few pics of trex. Too cold and windy with snow/ice on the ground to attempt to fly.

I used some red florescent marking paint from a spray can on the fins and struts.
I stole the heli decal on the windscreen idea from you.:p

Yep the decal looks great on the windscreen , they are almost made to order (size, scale wise) cuzz even has em on his phone LOL :) I also put one on the windscreen of my Blade CX as well and today I'm going to order the boom kit for her as well, it'll be interesting to see how she handles then :)
I'm going to move my gyro when my repair parts turn up this week, I was very uneasy about putting it on the boom in the first place, so I figure I got away with it once, but its time to hide her now. Also I'm looking into a two piece belt drive block so I wont have to seperate the frames!! I really don't want to go there, I think I read an article on it in T-Rextuning I will have another look.

Great Heli
Is it hard to put the landing gear I am thinking of buying Superskids for my Blade CP. I see that the Heli has a form that holds the blades I have my heli with the Blade unfolded and the heli sits on top of a shelve should it be folded???
Thanks
Very nice Heli
A t-rex, along with many others use landing gear that bolts on with only 4 bolts making it easy to replace them. As for the foam blade holder, no you don't "need" one, however it does put the blades in a convinient place without them swinging around catching on things. Basically it makes your heli slightly smaller for storage :)

Hi!!
Superskids are made by Garry (gtxslotcar) he has been making them for years everyone speaks very highly of his work and products, his back up is great,
As for the blade holder, on larger choppers IMHO it pays to stow this way because they make it easier to store them, it takes the strain off the ball links and linkages etc also larger heli-s can be quite unwieldy when they are stationary and you are trying to carry and or adjust things,it hard to do this with the blades and fly bar wobbling around etc.
:)

Nice pics helifino. Cool rex
I was looking at the second pic{sideview}, something about the way the flybar is angled in reference to your swash looks odd to me and I can't place exactly why. All my helis when in the stow position, the paddle is touching the main blades and I've tried to tilt the swash to get the paddle away from the MB, but it always stays within a centimeter.
Not trying to raise alarm, just seeing something that's a bit different.
In the stowed position you should be able to tilt the swashplate forward (forward collective) to get more room beween the paddles and the blades if it's an underslung flybar.

I'll check it out cuzz. Thanks for the alert.
btw, did you decide to give your trex it's last rights?

Swash was tilted forward in pic. If I tilt swash back, distance decreases between blades and paddles.
