Being relatively new to helis, I've found the tips extremely useful.
How about more on setup and first flight tips?
I intend on telling my club members about the mag and gain additional support.
We've got a winner here!

I found the magazine in a local book store when I went exploring for information about helis. With this being the premeire issue and focusing on basic information, it was exactly what I was looking for. I look forward to future issues and growing along with the mag! :D

ShaneA and the rest of the RC Heli crew,
Can you guys give us some definition of what will define success for RC Heli Mag?
What kind of circulation/subscription quantities do you need to keep the Mag rolling?
It looks like you're off to a great start with a quality mag (and great customer service - Thanks Kendra!) so I'm sure the community would like to know how we can help with your goals.

Success is creating a magazine that readers connect with. Our goal every month is to put out the absolute best magazine possible. If we can do that the readership, advertising, and success will follow. I know that sounds very "cliche" but it's the truth.
As far as what can readers do for us? Well, first off buy the magazine, lol. That helps. Second would be to mention to companies that you saw their products in the magazine either advertisements or editorial. Third, tell a friend about the magazine, and finally fly your heli. The more people flying the more opportunity for others to see how much fun this hobby can be. The more exposure the hobby gets, the more mags we'll sell and everyone's happy.
Thanks again,
Mike

The first issue looked GREAT!!!!
I hope you have a good supply of that first issue left, it will be great to refer beginners back to it.
Cant wait to see more!
We are trying our best to spread the work and send some fellow raptor flyers over for support as well!

I got the 2nd issue 2 days ago and have read it as many times. Thanks for a good magazine. I have to drive about 25 minutes to go to the local hobby store to get it. I asked for the subscription for x-mas so I hope the wife gets the clue and gets it for me.
Borders Book store right next to me does not carry it.
Thanks again.
