it's the simplest jobs that bite you in the ass!
I spent two hours sunday installing a humidifier to my central heating, went without a hitch, except I tapped into the cold water and realy needed the hot. No biggy, I stopped at home depot and picked up a saddle valve to go on the hot line.
5 F@$$$%^^ hours later! I've got 40 gallons of hot water swimming about me, two pipes each with a hole in them!
I now need to stop at home depot and get a proper 3/4" soldered T and adapters to drop to a 1/4".
Should of done the bastard job right in the first place!
Damn saddle valve is leaking like a cheap boat on the hot line, I've soldered a "blob" over the hole, just so we have running water in the morning.
Of course everyone is in bed(my only free time) so I'll get the ear ache in the morning when she who must be obeyed discoveres the shower is cold  :o
Don't ya just hate it when a simple job goes tits up!

Vapo- one phone call----- plumber NO STRESS!! :)
Yes, the cricket has been a bit of a worry this year, but you get that, the one dayer's are interesting though. I hope you sort your water troubles out.We are on tank water here, this is no rain ridge we buy it by the truck load, usually we are self sufficient but lately the drought is taking its toll
Cheers Ralph

See that's the trouble coming from an engineering background and being a qualified spark, I simply refuse to pay some little 16 year old scrotum to a job I can do better, yes yes, I know, !
But by midday, it will be done and done proper!

LOL!
If I had a nickel for every 5 minute job that turned into a project! My wife has a way of reminding me of other jobs when I say the famous "five minute job"!

Good luck, Vapo!

A plumbing company won't send a 16 year old to do the job alone.
I guess when I was a carpenter at 16, I was scrotum too.

LoL

simple jobs that go wrong. i got a good one

first time i did a differential cleaning on my traxxas sportmaxx, i put the diff in upside down. i didnt notice, since i didnt know better at the time, so i finished putting my truck back together. the next day i went to run it, started it up and pulled the trigger, truck shot backwards and slammed into my shin lol.

Yo "Vapo" - just remember Tim Allens rule for a good marriage, and you'll be o.k. . . . . . .

the first thing that he says to his wife in the morning is "I'm sorry", and then repeats this at various times through out the day - that should keep you "under the radar" :D

(what's that dripping sound)
