here's a few pics of the Trex600 I hovered today. Unfortunately it had a glitchy twitchy tail so any type of flite was out of the question. Here's some pics. :)

Gee!!! They are a nice bit of gear, I assume that is the top of the range model, with all the bling etc, someone has put a lot of $$$ into that machine with the GY611 and all, Its a shame you couldn't fly it, what was wrong with it servo or something else?
Yes I could see the snow!! man its cool there!!
Cheers Ralph

Thanks, ralph. :)
We think its antenna/rx problem that's causing it to glitch. Its a scary thing when the tail twitches a good eight to twelve inches while hovering. Most of what you see on the head is an aftermarket product. It sounds awesome when you get the blades up to hovering speed.
My friend that owns the 600 wants to see me ring it out for him. After I told him to shutdown the 600 to locate the problem, he let me fly his Rappy50 for a full tank. I ended up with eight successful flites yesterday. :D
It's been snowing here everyday, just not enough to accumulate anything.

Man, I can't believe the size of that battery. How'd you even get it off the ground?
I guess the one good thing about it,when the battery dies you can always pull the one out of your truck and use that!

Weight is not an issue with this machine.
LoL
That's the cheapy align battery that sells for about 220.00. The TP batteries are over 300.00.
Believe it or not, my friend says its about one pound lighter than his raptor50.

I've just been looking at lipo's for mine, could be a while before I have that amount of spare cash, you need at least two after all :D

I know what you mean. My friend/owner of the 600 has a tool box full of lipos. I think he likes his nitro raptor better, he just hasn't flown the rexy600 yet. :D

The glitch problem was the rx. It was changed with a different route for the antenna and no glitch for a full battery{about 5-6 minutes}.
