I like engines, but hate tuning. Probably why my T-Maxx engine allways overheated LOL
Anyways what can I expect to happen when my bird is in the air when my engine is too rich?
Several days ago my bird would have just enough headspeed to hover.
After adding more throttle (roughly 50% and up) the engine would just bog down and the RPM would no longer increase; which resulted in me having to land many times to tune.
Several weeks earlier prior to this video I was flying with CUZZ and did not make any adjustment to the carb.
While flying with CUZZ it was probably around 45F - 50F degrees and in the video it was near 60F degrees.
Would that temperature change warrant me having to lean the carb 1/2 to 1 full turn on the warmer day?
Do you think a header tank would help?
Anyone with a Sceadu not use a header tank like me and not have tuning problems?
I am running a Stock Sceadu .30 kit with O.S. .37 and stock muffler.
I'm reluctant to take the training gear off until I can tune my engine well!
I'm thinking its a fuel/air bubble problem.
