Whats more important to have? A decked out helicopter IE better motor carbon and metal parts or a good radio?

What im looking to buy is a HyperRaptor from Heliproz and put a Futaba 7C series radio in it OR would i be better off with a Raptor 50 SE and a Futaba 9C series?

Whats more important for a beginner Heli or Radio?

I would definately get the best radio you can afford. The radio will be with you for a long time and you will use it on all your models if you decide to get more. As far as the Raptor, you really can't go wrong with any of them. They are all great helis but if your just starting out, I would really recommend not getting a "blinged out" version like the SE. Get the V2 and learn on that then you can upgrade to metal parts when needed.

Go for the 9C.

I second that motion by Motions. A general rule in all of RC is to buy the best radio you can afford because it will last you longer than anything else. A 9C will last you for years and years.

That's one of the easiest questions I've been asked. The Hyper without a doubt. It doesn't cost much more than the SX-H and it has more power and better cooling. Besides, it looks much cooler.

As a side note, if you just have extra cash laying around, more and more people are starting to put the OS .91 carbrator on the SX-H 50 Hyper which gives you 3 needle settings instead of just 2. Easier to tune and runs awsome.
