Hello Everyone. This is my first post to the Blade CP forum. I just completed the upgrade to the Bell-Hiller mixing mod. I used the EFlite/Horizon Hobby parts. The performance is great, rock solid hover, excellent cyclic response. I did have one issue however, there seems to be a wierd gyroscopic wobble while hovering stationary and doing hovering/low speed manuevers such as figure eights, etc. The wobble occurs in ground effect as well as out. The gyroscopic wobble starts occuring as the battery voltage starts to fall off. As the voltage falls off you have to pull more pitch to stay at altitude. This causes the torque to increase, the rotor rpm (head speed) to decline slightly, and the tail rotor rpms to increase to counteract the increased torque. At this point the wobble starts slightly and can be countered by lowering the pitch which increases head speed. You will lose altitude slightly but can be stopped by pulling the pitch back up. Where it really gets interesting is when the battery decline increases the wobble increases to the point where it is fairly severe and almost uncontrolable. Time to land!
I talked to Horizon. They are aware of it but that is all they would say. They are still testing as am I. Will keep you posted.

i had this experience once. It turned out to be too much pitch wit not enough power.. I replced the motor with a new one and it was fixed.. Hope this helps.
