My wife is the best. :) She got me the g3.5 flight simulator for christmas. :D I guess after my first bad crash she thought it would be a good investment in the long run. I have been working so i have not had much of a chance to fly. :( Hope all of you had a merry christmas.

It will as they say " pay for itself " in no time - no broken parts, no trips to the LHS to part with CASH - just whack the reset, and you're off again - nice present !! - I really enjoy mine :) - can't imagine learning ( with no previous experience ) without it ........... and where I live the outdoor flying season just officially ended I think, cause the snow and cold weather finally seem to have arrived :(

i second that, when i went to the LHS they had it there and i immedently crashed it 3 times, told the ol' lady that it just paid for itself....she agreed and.......

A quality sim will help immensely in the learning stages all the way to the 3D stages. I learned on a RealFlite G-2 then upgraded to the Reflex XTR simulator.

ive spent alot of time on G3 learning stunts with my digitial heli. i can hover inverted, do loops, barrel rolls, and hover for days. once my cp pro is back up and dialed in, ill proly take to the air pretty well
simulators helped me in other fields as well.... i learned car handling characteristics after many hours playing gran turismo 4 w/ a steering wheel, then later playing GTR on the pc w/ a wheel. improved my real life skills considerably. espically my hand-eye coordination. i feel that the major reason to use a simulator for a RC heli is to develop razor sharp H.E.C so u know how to react to the heli when its moving around the field and to avoid the dreaded "dumb thumbs". aka, when youre flying nose in and u wanna straife right and the heli goes left... straight into the ground.

I Like The Simulator So Far But I Have Not Been Able To Get My Jr Radio To Work With It. I Have A 9202. Everything Hooks Up Fine But The Controls Are Not Right. When I Try To Remapp The Channels I End Up Screwing Them Up.

Sorry About That. It Has Been A Long Day. It Is A 9303. After 16 Hours Of Work Everything Seems To Be A Blur.

The problem you may be running into is that you actually need a plane model set up on your 9303 for it to work correctly, if you've got a heli set up on your radio, it will only confuse G3. Just a thought, I don't know exactly what problems you're running into.

td is right - you probably have the radio doing some channel mixing AND the sim doing some mixing of its own. You need to disable the mixing on one or the other.

Post your problem on the G3.5 Support page, they will help you with your problem I promise. :D
