.... My wife bought me a set of MS composit nite blades for x-mas. I tried them a few times at dusk with no lites on the boom, skids, or canopy. The blades look awesome but trying to see the rest of the heli was the main concern so I shelved them until now. I'm finally setting up my C-30 for nite-flying. Here's a sneak peak at the boom lite with blades lit too.

I will be doing the skids and canopy. I just threw it together quick to get an idea of how its going to look.

Now you need a channel to turn them off so when you know you are going in, you don't have to watch :D

Its very easy.... When I'm going in, I simply unlug the connectors from the lights, then proceed to my shop where I hang my helis in one piece.... :p

td, have you ever done any nite flying? I've only seen vids of it, besides me spinning the blades up at dusk. I think it looks awesome when you have a nicely lit heli.

I've seen a lot of night fly's, but haven't done it yet. From what I can see, orientation is easier than during daytime. The only hard part is gauging the ground! I'm planning on dabbling a little in it this summer, but don't have anything bought yet. :(

There's a 3 pin connector to complete the circuit. The lights and battery are built into the blades, nothing is exposed.
