Hi ,

I am a beginner, maybe alittle better than a beginner, I have a BCP and practicing on it. I also am very interested in the T-rex the movies and reviews shows it is way more stable than others in the market. I have a feeling that might be a good idea to learn on a more stable heli, at the same time I will learn building setting, programming and ....etc. Please SEND ME YOUR IDEAS ABOUT MY THEORY!!
I am looking for deals also for the TREX 450XL HDE and that seem to be a good deal but since I am a beginner I think I need some comments from more experienced people than myself.
Take a look at this combo please and this is $340 including the shipping.
Should I do it?

A few people out there have spotted this combo and I've replied to it in other forums. It's alright...I gotta throw my $0.02 worth in one the RCE-500 gyro. I had one and wasn't very impressed with it. It, coupled with pilot error, led to a crash on my T-Rex. It constantly needed a new trim point every time I initialized it.

I went with the Futaba GY401 gyro. You'll be much happier with it. It's much less finicky and can easily work for larger birds if you decide to get another in the future. If the kit doesn't come assembled, you'll be that much more ahead of the game if and when you need to rebuild it after a crash. I recommend you build it yourself.

I also bought this kit but hasn't arrived yet. I assume you got it from "RC-X". I was very nervous about buying from them and got different opinions across the board from many people. I just couldn't turn down the price though. I'm planning on upgrading it slowly but wanted to fly it while I wait.

I'm interested to hear your experience with this kit. Please post results.

If I buy this kit I also want to buy a Spektrum DX6 and my question is, Is the gyro that I will buy (any one) will work with this radio?

Yep, Gyros work with any radio. Just about everyting across the board is compatible as far as servos and gyros, Radios to receivers, though you have to do your homework. Some radios have different channel assignments and/or different "shifts" in the frequency they transmit at, even if they're the same channel or frequency.

HI Everyone,

The beginner is speaking :)

I bought a T-rex (HDE), AON Motor, Hyperion Titan 30A ESC, Thunder Power 2200 lipo, charger, Align Gyro yesterday.

First I would like to ask what you are thinking about this combo. And secondly I would like any one who has time to send me some detailed photos of your T-rex please, dhotamis@yahoo.com is my adress and I am sure it will be very helpful.

Third thing I want to ask is what issues are important to pay attention when building and setting.
and what can be done to make it easier to control as a beginner.

I also have to mention that I do not have a radio system yet and that is one pat of my plan. My plan is, while practicing with Blade CP I want to learn bulding setting as I buy the components in a time period. So the next step for me is Spektrum DX6.

Thank you all from now and I am waiting for your suggestions.

Deniz, you are so lucky I don't moderate this forum. There are so many people angry about this identical post you have posted on every RC forum and hijacked most threads instead of starting your own.

Please STOP!!!!
