I just wanted to remind everyone about the 2nd Annual Tampa Bay Heli Classic, 10-11 March 2007. Ref Post: Tampa Contest and 2nd Annual Tampa Bay Heli Classic
AMA Sanction number is 07-0134 for AMA class I, II, III and FAI Schedule A/B
This year’s entry fee is $35.
The new venue for this year’s contest is at the Can-Am Flyers (http://www.can-amflyers.org) field off I-75. This field does allow for Camping/overnight parking, but there are no hookups. Bring your tents and tables if you can. There is a shaded eating area, but covered pit space is nonexistent. The field is orientated East/West, with a north facing line, so the sun will be at our backs until late afternoon.
Last year we had 13 entries! Let’s see if we can keep it up, or better yet, beat that number!
Please RSVP your intentions to compete at ejfreymann@verizon.net or call me at 813-926-8552. I’m also looking for volunteers for judging, as I would like to minimize contestant judging as we did last year. If interested in acting as a seated judge, your lunch and drinks are free for the entire contest.
Hope to see you all there for the season opening contest of 2007!
