We all at some stage need to order online, so how about a rants and rave thread?
I'll kick it off:
I bought the super skids kit for my Cp pro a few weeks back, great little product, really makes the CPP look different, well I landed a little <ahem> firm shall we say, and the rotor hit the horizontal plastic wing thing. Once the air had cleared ;) I emailed Gary at superskids to order a couple more, as I figured it was bound to happen again at some stage, so I might as well have a spare. Now, the $ amount while small is still a $ amount, so imaging when I got a reply from him saying, ;:

Hi David,
Just send me you address again so I don't have to look it up, and I'd be glad to send you a couple.

Gary

Would not take any money for them or even for the shipping! My hat is off to you sir, You'll have my business and referals :)
pretty damn rare these days, to find an online retailer who actually understands that to compete, you have to behave as if the customer is in front of you, this goes way beyond that.

Alright, I'll play along! Good Experiences....hmmmm. I've actually had a few. My recent order at Heli-Proz. This is nothing major, I've always had great service from Heli-Proz, but this one is one of those little things that let's you know they're paying attention. I was placing an order for some 680mm blades and for a friend, I also ordered some red dampeners for a Raptor 50 and some other misc. things. The guy actually thought enough to make sure that I had ordered the right parts, because as you know, 680 blades will not work with a 50. I just replied that yes I was sure of what I wanted, but thanks for asking and paying attention! I then explained they were going on 2 different birds.

It was nothing big but if I had been new to this, it would have saved me a lot of headaches when I had to ship them back and such. Kudos to Heli-Proz! This is why I order from them so much.

I know this is suppose to be a "rant" thread but I just had to second what tdswan said about Heliproz. Nothing but good timely service from them ever since my first order. That would be a good review subject in the magazine. Not only would it let the consumers know who is trust worthy but also give new companies a chance to get their name out there and prove their service to the consumer.

Just a thought anyway.

I thought this was kinda cute! I just got my parts order from Century for the gasser. They threw in a little helicopter air freshener for the car!

Yep! I've got a lot of progress on the rebuild. I've got the head unit back together and I've also installed a push-pull elevator upgrade. That was a bit involved but I got 'er together.

I'll be working on the tail tomorrow once some CA cures.
