I know, this is off topic, but ya really gotta see this thing - it's a HUGE B-52 with Eight (8) turbines in it - big download, but unbelievable....

Yea - actually I just saw it. I hope he had insurance on that baby. He had about 15 large worth of engines in that thing.

That's what always kept me away from large scale planks, the money. Dad had a P-47D around 70" span, third or forth flight, had a failure, never did find out what, but it went straight in. Just tooooooo much pocket money for me,lol

I remember a long time ago I went to a hobby store that had a fuselage of an F-14 for sale. with nothing else but the fue, the canopy and the swing wings was $3,500.00. That was what kept me away from RC anythng for so long. I can't even imagine what it felt like to lose that huge bird. But for a time that guy could say he had one of the biggest and baddest up in the sky! You think he rented an hanger at the field he flew at or trailered that thing in? :o :confused:
